We wanted a name that would set us apart from the rest, but most importantly, encompassed our company’s core value—to provide better flavor than the rest while only using REAL ingredients. Since we do NOT use "flavorings," we must rely on Mother Nature and source our ingredients from all over the planet. When we first started Zone 8, we spent many hours researching tea and how it was grown. One thing we discovered was that the world is divided into agricultural "Growing Zones." Each Zone is used to determine which plants will grow well in each environment. In terms of tea, Zone 8 is the region where tea is grown. We thought this was the perfect name, as it affirms our love for tea while still reflecting our ingredients.
